CEREC® Dental Prosthetics Cologne

The CEREC® method (CEramic REConstruction) makes it possible to produce dental prosthetics directly in our Cologne dental practice, and in some cases even in just one session. Without conventional impressions with unpleasant impression material. Please ask our dental team in Cologne about this.

HIGH-TECH DENTAL PROSTHETICS for Cologne

After the teeth are prepared, they are scanned by our dentists with a camera and the data is transmitted to the PC. The data obtained is processed and transmitted to a digitally controlled milling machine, where your dental prosthesis is created. Almost all types of dental prostheses can be manufactured in this way nowadays, and the ceramic material is more compatible with the oral cavity than most metals.

No Impression Required
The prepared tooth is recorded with the CEREC® 3D measuring camera within a few seconds. An impression is not necessary.

No Temporary Crown
CEREC® dentures and fillings can be ground from a ceramic block within a few minutes and immediately inserted into your mouth.

No loss of time
Due to the immediate care with CEREC®, only a single treatment visit to our dental practice is required.

PREPARATION

After removing the caries, the old amalgam filling or grinding the tooth, it is prepared for the following 3D scan.

3D SCAN

The tooth is scanned with a camera. The data is transmitted to the PC.

(RE)CONSTRUCTION

The tooth is three-dimensionally (re)constructed on the screen using special software and then transmitted to the grinding unit.

MANUFACTURING

The grinding unit mills your new dental prosthesis from a ceramic block.

INSERTION

The finished, ground dental prosthesis is inserted.
